Hi again everyone,
There's a very, very informal group of people that have been meeting give-or-take every month to talk about marketing the Ithaca community, and we'll be meeting again tonight (Wed, January 7) at 6:30 p.m. at Hometown Cellars. I just wanted to put out the invitation to anyone and everyone in the Ithaca community.
Frankly, the (unofficial) name of this group is the Young Merchants and Professionals of Ithaca, only because the people that have been coming are all in their 20s and 30s; however, we welcome everyone's thoughts and energy, so please feel free to poke your head in if you'll be around. (There are typically five to eight of us at these meetings, fyi.)
At the moment, we're planning a "Meet the Merchants" Ithaca-area business show for February.
If you're curious about this or other community groups, don't hesitate to drop me an email at IthacaDDA@gmail.com.
An important note - the Ithaca Promotional Committee's next meeting is tomorrow, January 8, at 5:30 pm at Town & Country Recreation.
